Tonya Browning
Tonya Browning is a veteran technology leader who focuses on user experience through thoughtful design, usability, engineering and interaction for consumer and business platforms. Currently a senior director at X.commerce, an eBay Inc. company, she leads cross-functional teams to create a comprehensive, open technology platform that is solving commerce-related challenges for businesses of all sizes. In addition to roles at PayPal and Visa USA, Tonya also survived four start-ups and is recognized for her technology vision, architectural innovation and leadership executed with real world expertise. Tonya holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, and continues to teach part-time.
Janice Fraser
Janice Fraser is a globally recognized leader of Lean Startup methodology and the founder of LUXr, the leading provider of coaching products for startup founders worldwide. She is a serial entrepreneur, designer, and advisor to early stage companies. She has raised capital, founded both successful and failed startups, and consulted to large enterprise. Prior to starting LUXr, Janice was a founding partner of Adaptive Path and served as the company's first CEO.
Danielle Strachman
Danielle Strachman has led and designed education programs for the last 10 years. In 2002 she started an educational consulting business serving the homeschooling community. It was this group of passionate and driven young people who inspired her to cofound Innovations Academy in 2006, a public K-8 charter school in San Diego, which she led for 4 years. Currently, she leads the design and operations of the Thiel Fellowship program and sits on the board of Innovations Academy. With her vast experience in education, she intimately understands the struggles of public school finances and is excited to advise Safelist as the company rolls out its innovative fundraising platform for school PTAs.
David Weekly
A social engineer, David has been programming since five and coded for MIT, Harvard, and Stanford, graduating a President's Scholar in Computer Science at Stanford University. David is the founder of PBwiki (now PBworks), Hacker Dojo, SuperHappyDevHouse, Mexican.VC, and now Oha.na - a family sharing application. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, being a global startup cheerleader, and flying helicopters. He is happily engaged to fellow nerd Rebecca Lipon.
