Submitting Identity Verification Forms: In order to be able to use the various features of the Safelist.com website, a user must first complete an Identity Verification Form. This form requires the user to provide his or her contact information, including name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This contact information is used to send the user a unique pass code which he or she must have in order to complete the Safelist Identity Verification process. All customer information obtained via this Identity Verification process is encrypted for security purposes and stored on a secured server.

Making a Purchase via Escrow: On the Safelist.com website, a user has the ability to confirm his or her intention to make a purchase of an item or a service advertised in the website's classified ads section by paying through escrow. Safelist.com has contracted with the Internet's leading online escrow transaction company, Escrow.com, to facilitate such transactions between sellers and buyers. Any fee(s) associated with such transaction(s) will be charged to the buyer or the seller or both directly by Escrow.com, and the parties to such a transaction will be bound by the rules and regulations described by Escrow.com on their company's website, http://www.escrow.com.

Cookies: A "cookie" is a piece of data that contains information about the user and is stored on the user's hard drive. Safelist uses cookies to track users' visits to the Safelist.com website and to store specific, personally identifiable information about Safelist.com users.
